Sweetheart!

Mark and I were sitting on the couch and as Kyron walked around, I said "Love you!" I waited for a response from him, and then said it again, "Love you!" Then as he is standing across the room, he started saying, "Love you twee," Love you...I need to star ober." Then he said, "Love you tweeheart" "Awwwww...I said." Then he came over and started playing and Mark asked him, "Who's your sweetheart?" Kyron said, "Mommy" and then I said, "I'm daddy's sweetheart," and he said, "No I'm daddy's sweetheart." I love this kid!

A few minutes later Mark was talking about who thought up to drink milk from a cow. He was saying, whoever thought, let's see what this white liquid tastes like, and then Kyron said, "That's amazing!" So funny.

Dirty

Sometimes when Kyron gets his blankets dirty or something, I wash them, and forget to bring them back upstairs. A few times, I have remembered when it's time to go to bed or something, and Kyron is looking for them. I reassure him, that I have them, they just got left in the dryer. He always asked "why," so I tell him, "because I had to wash them because they were dirty, so I'll go get them out of the dryer." So today he was sitting up on a stool waiting for his lunch, and while I was making him a sandwich he moved him cup to the other side of the counter, and said "Mamma, need to put my cup in the dryer" and to make sure I heard him right, I asked, "You want me to put your cup in the dryer?" He said, "Yup" and I asked, "Why should mamma put your cup in the dryer," and he said, "Because it's dirty." Classic, I love the humor I am exposed to everyday, it makes life more interesting. Especially coming from the view of a almost three year old. It's quite entertaining!

BEE good

My Mom got Kyron a shirt that has a bee on it, and the word good. I put it on him today, and when Mark leaves for work he says goodbye and if Kyron is crabby in the morning, which he wasn't today, Mark would tell him to be nice to mamma. So Mark just left and Kyron was playing in his room, and just said, "Mamma, I'll be nice to you." I said, "Oh, well thank you." Then he said, "You be nice to me, and I be nice to you!" I said, "Ok." It should be a good day today!

Listening

Ever since Kyron has learned to talk, he has picked up on so many things that I didn't even realized that I said so much. I would hear him say something, and I would be like, where did he hear that from? So I have been very careful on what I say and how I say things from then on. It's been a little hard, but he has definitely not been afraid to correct me when I do say something, that he isn't suppose to say. Usually when disciplining him I tell him he needs to listen, and sometimes I tell him he needs to obey. Tonight I was talking with Mark and Kyron wanted him to pay attention to him, so he said "You obey to me, Daddy" I'm not sure if he meant listen or obey, but we were quit to correct him on the matter. Mommy's and Daddy's don't obey to their children, he was to obey to us.

Mornings

Most mornings, that Mark doesn't work till 11, Kyron comes up and his famous phrase is "Time to get up, the sun come up!" This morning he came up a little after 9:00, yes people my child sleeps in, we've had some late nights the past two days. He walks over to Mark's side of the bed like always and says "Morning Daddy, I wan you to come downstairs and make some pancakes" Ever since Mark introduced him to pancakes, I think the whole week after that all he wanted was pancakes. So this isn't the first time we have heard something like this, usually it's just, "I wan pancakes" or something, so it's was funny to hear!

HA-larious

After his underwear on the head thing, I asked him if Daddy should put underwear on his head? Daddy said, "NO" then Kyron says, "You can do it"

Showing a picture of Santa Claus, Who's that? "Grandpa!"

What are you doing in the bathroom? "Making a mess"

"We need to shovel, it's snowing outside"

"You dinosaur, Daddy dinosaur, I'm pig"

What does a cowboy say? "Moo-yeeha"

"The sun come out, time to get up"

Looking at the bear shaped honey bottle. "I wan some bubbles"

The meanings

"From my other blog" (Last March)

Kyron has been potty training for a while now, and he gets a treat every time he goes. We bought a whole bag of M&M's and put them in a bowl on the counter. If we ever forget to give him a treat afterwards, he is sure to remind us. One day Mark gave him a treat and he took it and just looked at it then he looked up at Mark and said "Duba-you!" We thought it was the funniest thing, but he knows what a W looks like. Apparently our bag of M&M's are a fluke because all of ours have W's on them!

We stayed at my parents house for a week while they went down to Arizona, and Kyron slept in a pack-n-play in our room. We got up every morning to wake Ryan up and this particular morning I went back and laid in bed for a little while. Kyron then woke up in his crib, stood up, and said "Cock-a-doo-do-doo." Mark and I couldn't stop laughing.

We went to my sister's for a little bit and watched her two kids while she ran to Aaron's work. They were both sleeping when we got there, but woke up within 10 minutes of her leaving. Kaiden is 8 months older than Kyron and loves to play with him. When I went upstairs to get Brinley Kyron followed me and Kaiden stayed downstairs. Then next thing I know, Kaiden is yelling from downstairs "Kyron, come downstairs," and Kyron would respond with "Coming!" This went on for a few minutes as Kyron made his way down the stairs, but the irritation in Kyron's voice whenever he said, "Coming" was halarious!

(Sometime last summer)
We were outside, Kyron and me, and I was pulling weeds out of my yard. Kyron was playing with a football, and there was an airplane that had flown overhead. Then, this is the conversation: "Hi airplane. You flying in the sky airplane? Ok, bye airplane" So cute!

(More recently)
Kyron got a cool squishy ball from Mimi and Mark had gotten home one night, Kyron was so excited to show Mark he went to get it in his little bag in came in, and blurted "Check this out!" We laughed so hard.

Most randomly, he'll go around and just say, "I got a idea" so funny, because I'm not sure he even knows what it means, but it's definately funny to hear him say it.

I was in my friend's wedding on New Year's eve, and her Mother-in-law made us these white shall type things to wear over our dresses, and I had it hanging up in my room. One morning Kyron came upstairs and on his way back down, he looked at it, and starting saying how it was pretty and then he say, "Mamma you're pretty like Princess Pea" so sweet. He watched SuperWhy, which is about fairytail heros who help ready and write with letter and stuff, and Princess Pea is one of them, so I'm assuming that's where he got it from.

Behind the stories

I thought I would start a blog about the little things my son says that make us laugh. They are quite interesting, and trust me, it's never as funny as it is in person, but I am loving the fact that when I write them down, I can keep them for all time. I wrote one post about it on my other blog, but it makes it more about him if he has a blog of his own, and maybe someday, he can love to blog like I do and take it over! I will post three times today, to catch everyone up on the last year or so, since Kyron really started talking. He's the best thing that has happen to us so far, and I enjoy watching him grow into a BIG boy, who has his own personality.
